The bond will help with capital projects across the district including the building of a new PreK-8 innovation school, Grand Mountain.
With bond dollars at work, Widefield High School was able to remodel the auditorium, add electrical upgrades, fire alarm system and security upgrades, and ADA facility upgrades. Each school received $31,250 from the bond that will allow them to choose their school discretion bond project. Widefield High School chose to add bleachers, a table, table tennis, picnic tables, water bottle filling station, portable speaker system, sound system, and a projector system.
