Counseling

Hello Gladiators!

The WHS Counseling Center is here to help!  The counselors are here to assist you in creating your schedule, meeting your educational goals, college and career planning, achieving those graduation requirements, or helping you deal with problems you may have.  See your counselor before the problem becomes major and overwhelming. You are assigned to counselors by grade level.  If you have any general information questions, please call Mrs. Vickie Abeyta, Counseling Center Secretary at 719-391-3110. We look forward to meeting you!

The last day for student initiated schedule changes will be August 23.  Once school begins, a student that needs to make a semester schedule change will need to stop by the counseling center to put in a pass to see their counselor.

If a student needs to drop/change a year-long class, they need to get the drop form from their teacher.

If a student needs to drop/add an AP, Honors, music or ROTC class, they will need to make an appointment with the assistant principal in the principal’s office.
