Free/reduced meal applications for the school year are now available!
Families need to apply for a meal application on the WSD3 Nutrition Services Meal Applications Webpage
It is important to fill out the application even if you do not access the school lunch program for these reasons:
• Free and Reduced data is used by the Federal Department of Education to allocate funding through the Title programs to provide for much needed additional support for students in our schools
• Free and Reduced data is used by the State Department of Education as part of the school funding formula which provides much needed funding for all students. With WSD3 being the 6th lowest funded district in the state, every dollar counts in supporting our students during the school year.
By completing the form, you will help WSD3 access additional funding to help support all students throughout our schools.
